Us as qualification providers

As an expanding business we`re continually developing our own courses, as well as becoming accredited and approved to deliver others of note & value from National Awarding & Qualification bodies across the U.K.

We offer practical, real life, and sought after development programs with a view to enabling people become employed in worthwhile jobs that offer a future, and when there, give them the option to develop further and improve their career & promotion opportunities.

While we`re looking to provide a good range of training & development offerings, we`re not a `jack of all trades` type business with a list as long as your arm; quality and substance are more important to us – it`s fair to say we`re concentrating on construction related, IT and data-comms/transfer sectors….  why? – we believe they`re not only the real growth areas for many years to come, but they`re all interlinked too, so knowledge, experience and skills are transferable.

What`s currently available?

EAL accredited & approved L1 `Health, Safety & Environment` Qualification: 3 – 4 days duration depending on progress rate. This course gives you the essential training & certification they need to prove to employers that they are competent to be on , and work in, construction related environments/sites. This qualification/certification is required to allow you to be able to apply for a C.I.T.B./C.S.C.S. Card.

C.IT.B./C.S.C.S. online testing for all  C.I.T.B./C.S.C.S. Cards: with tutor supported practice sessions; 1 day duration (longer if required). Our tutor supported session allows you to `dummy run` example online tests, learning as you go, until you reach a point where you`re confident enough to sit the actual `live` test, that when passed and submitted with your L1 Certificate, gets you the all important C.I.T.B./C.S.C.S. Card, opening doors to many jobs & careers.

Safe & effective Manual Handling: 1/2 day max duration. While still safety related, this course enables you to demonstrate to employers who have jobs that require lifting, moving, pushing/pulling of `stuff` that you`re capable of doing so safely. In addition to the 2 courses above, this makes up what we`re calling `Holy Trinity`of training needed on construction sites, as a starting point… and let`s face it, which jobs don`t entail this? … so it`s not just construction related.

Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF)

What is the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF)?

The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is a new credit transfer system which has replaced the National Qualification Framework (NQF). It recognises qualifications and units by awarding credits. And since each unit has a credit value and the credits can be transferred, the system gives the learners the ability to get qualifications at their own pace. The QCF is jointly regulated by the England’s regulator Ofqual, Wales’ DCELLS and Northern Ireland’s CCEA.
